My dad was just officially accepted into the PhD program at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Of course, he is a very smart man, so I am not surprised, but he didn't think he would find out until January.

Today I rode my bike 15.4 miles. I bought Of Montreal's Sunlandic Twins album, which is not as good as the last one, but that doesn't surprise me at all. I had an Arby's jamoca shake. I took John food at work. I'm planning to eat squash, broccoli, cauliflour and rice for dinner because John is not here. I'm skipping church because I'm tired from the bike riding.

I'm listening to the audio book for The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I highly recommend it. It's about two kids growing up in Afghanistan. The author actually reads for the audio book, which is neat. I like his voice, his slight accent, the way he pronounces the Afghan words.

Since I have a 45-minute commute to work, I'm going to try to listen to lots of audio books.
